Community Connections:
An Introduction to Paranormal Investigation
Wednesday, October 23
1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Minda Powers-Douglas will share her experiences with conducting paranormal investigations in the Quad Cities.

Minda has written three books about cemeteries and shared her knowledge throughout the Midwest and beyond. Her interest in all things spooky started as a kid. In recent years, she had the epiphany that her childhood imaginary friend was not so imaginary after all! Since then, she’s experienced a ghost in her old apartment, visits from dead loved ones, and even hitchhiking ghosts.

Don't miss this great introduction to all things paranormal!

Community Connections is funded by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.

Help Us Drive Outreach Services Forward
The New Foundation Initiative
Not everyone residing in the City of Bettendorf can conveniently - or physically - visit the library, which is why the Bettendorf Public Library Foundation is excited to announce their newest initiative: an outreach vehicle! A new outreach vehicle would allow the Library to bring books, resources, and programming directly to the community. Your contribution would help ensure everyone has access to the resources they need.
An outreach vehicle would expand programming to our:

  • Schools
  • Seniors living in care facilities
  • Homebound residents
  • Pop-ups at local parks, businesses, neighborhoods, and more!
Exciting vehicle features include:

  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Library card registrations
  • Family-friendly games & activities
  • Rotating collection of materials for checkout
