Faye's Field is located right across from the library at 2850 Learning Campus Drive. In the case of inclement weather, concerts will still occur but will be moved inside the library.

Sunday Hours Update and Closure
Sunday hours are taking a break for the summer. The library will be closed on Sundays starting May 24 through September 6. 
 
In addition, the library willl be closed Monday, May 25. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, May 26.

Summer Reading Program
June 8 - August 1
"Plant a Seed, Read" with the library this summer and bloom into a reader! Participation is free and open to all ages, encouraging reading and use of the library through fun challenges and exciting rewards. The Summer Reading Program starts June 8 and runs through August 1. Online registration is now open!

Local Author Showcase

Explore the world of writing and publishing! Join local authors as they share excerpts of their works, insights into their creative processes, and how they went from manuscript to publication. Questions are encouraged, and we will also share information on local writing groups to join and offer a chance to mingle with authors and fellow attendees.

Community Connections: Fourth Wall Films

Iowa Legal Aid Senior Hotline
Drop in between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. May 21 to learn about this hotline for adults aged 60+. The hotline gives seniors free, direct access to an attorney by phone for advice and brief legal help, and it is often the first point of contact.

Board certified endocrinologist Dr. M. Kathleen Figaro will present an information-filled program about helpful home remedies for menopause.

Iowa Women's Jazz Orchestra Sextet

Join us for an inspiring performance by the Iowa Women's Jazz Orchestra Sextet, featuring music by women jazz composers and arrangers. This talented all-women group, formed in 2017, showcases the contributions of women in jazz. Founder and 2010 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School Toni LeFebvre will perform with the sextet.
